Reflecting on Autism Awareness Month

With one week left on the April calendar, the C. Blohm & Associates team continues to recognize Autism Awareness Month by promoting autism awareness and acceptance throughout our many channels. As we move beyond this month of recognition, we begin to turn our focus to year-round acceptance for these amazing individuals with autism, and the families, friends and organizations that support them.

CB&A reflected on the 1-year anniversary of our Special Needs Division this month, and celebrated the many successes of our special needs clients. Check out all of their newsworthy moments from the past month.


On April 2, the ABPathfinder team participated in the local Job Olympics, an annual event aimed at addressing the high unemployment rate among individuals with special needs, and recognizing their value as highly dedicated employees. The company also continues its customer referral program, with a portion of this month’s proceeds going to the Autism Society – The Heartland. Full release>

Brain Parade

The company announced a major update to its acclaimed autism learning app See.Touch.Learn Pro 3.0 at the CEC 2014 Convention & Expo. The visual learning and assessment tool now offers student data tracking, an automatic exercise generator, and an interactive wizard that demonstrates the app’s features. RoboKind introduces Milo the Robot! The Robots4Autism Name Our Robot contest invited members of the autism, special needs, education and technology communities to suggest and vote on an Earthly name for the robot formerly known as Zeno R-25. Milo features life-like facial expressions and natural social engagement to teach critical and social skills to individuals with autism.
