Last week, members of the CB&A team attended the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Madison Alchemy Awards ceremony. The annual award program honors exceptional communication tactics, strategies and campaigns.

CB&A received three awards for its work in public affairs, social media and media relations.

The team earned an Award of Excellence for its development and management of a successful thought leadership campaign for John D. Harrington, CEO of Funds For Learning. The agency assisted in raising his profile on the issue of E-rate funding, through outbound communications about changing policies for Internet connectivity in schools throughout the United States.

PRSA Madison also presented the agency with an Award of Merit for creating high levels of social media engagement for the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). Through live tweeting and quality content, the agency significantly increased Twitter engagement during the 2014 CoSN Conference.

CB&A received an additional Award of Merit for conducting successful media outreach that promoted brand awareness and loyalty. Highlighting LearnZillion’s Dream Team, the campaign garnered a significant amount of local media coverage.
