CB&A is an education pr agency.

With EdNET in the books, we cast our gaze west toward Anaheim, the site of this year’s EDUCAUSE Annual Conference. Anaheim has been home to Disneyland since the theme park’s grand opening in 1955, making it one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. Adjacent to Disneyland sits the Anaheim Convention Center, the largest of its kind on the West Coast, where higher education leaders will convene for EDUCAUSE.

In keeping with CB&A tradition, here are some recommended attractions to check out after the exhibit hall closes…

Food

According to Zagat, fine dining meets country western at the “upscale ranch” that is The Ranch Restaurant and Saloon. The emphasis is on farm to table, says the restaurant’s website, with fresh, organically grown fruits and vegetables from local farms and from “our own ranch in the Santa Ana Mountains.” The Ranch is open nightly, and reservations are recommended. So plan ahead!

Drink

Celebrate Oktoberfest a few days late at JT Schmid’s Restaurant and Brewery. With a variety of handcrafted microbrews and a “California casual” attitude, JT’s is a good spot to unwind after a long day of meetings.

Fun

It’s obvious: Disneyland Park. Embrace your curious side and explore the sprawling park’s many attractions. From Splash Mountain to Peter Pan’s Flight, and all points in between, Disneyland has something for everyone.

What else is on your must-see list for Anaheim?
