C. Blohm & Associates welcomes Raptor TechnologiesScreen shot 2014-12-12 at 4.30.41 PM, a leading developer in cutting-edge visitor management technology for K-12 schools, to its expanding client family.

Established in 2003, Raptor Technologies screens incoming visitors to improve the overall safety and protection of children in school facilities. Over the past 11 years, Raptor’s systems have helped identify 15,000 offenders and have been used in more than 11,000 K-12 schools nationwide.

As guests arrive at schools, Raptor software examines each individual with a background check performed by its comprehensive database. Raptor’s system crosschecks the visitor against more than 300 million national court and arrest records. When a visitor is cleared, Raptor prints a badge featuring the visitor’s name, photo, date and destination. If a guest is identified as a risk, the system has the ability to send alerts to school administrators and law enforcement.

In addition to these components, Raptor technology has the ability to track and log faculty and volunteer hours as well as student tardies and sign-outs. Volunteers also have the opportunity to engage with others as they can communicate and sign up for events within the Raptor system. With these extensive tools, Raptor offers technology features to meet the safety needs of all individuals: teacher, student and guest.
