April is Autism Awareness Month

The entire C. Blohm & Associates team will recognize Autism Awareness Month by focusing on both autism awareness and acceptance in April. We look forward to celebrating the incredible strengths of individuals with autism, as well as the families, organizations and products that support these individuals. While these are year-round goals for us, we have a few special things in store for the occasion.

This month marks CB&A’s 1-year anniversary of its Special Needs Division. And each of our special needs clients will be making noteworthy announcements. Below is a preview, but stay tuned for a full news recap mid-month.

ABPathfinder

The company will continue its customer referral program, and a portion of the proceeds in April will go to the Autism Society–The Heartland. Plus, the team will participate in the local Job Olympics, which helps high school students with special needs network and build job skills. Full release>

DynaVox

The DynaVox Compass app has received plenty of rave reviews since its launch last fall. And now the company is about to announce a free resource for speech-language pathologists. More details to come!

RoboKind

The Robots4Autism Name Our Robot contest is well under way.  The friendly robot, previously known as Zeno R-25, is looking for an Earthly name. Get your suggestions in now before voting closes on April 11 at the CEC Conference.
