CB&A is an education pr agency.

The Situation: Our client, a national organization that provides high-quality, affordable online professional development, sought to highlight a major partnership with a state education department at the Florida Educational Technology Conference (FETC).

The Results: CB&A provided turnkey special events planning services involving several partner organizations that attracted more than 30 media, industry VIPs and prospective customers. The event reinforced public perception of the client as a premier online service provider.

Publicizing a Strong Partnership

Committed to helping teachers acquire the skills they need to prepare students for a successful future, our client — a provider of high quality and affordable online professional development for educators — sought a partnership to increase awareness of their product.

Our client teamed up with the Florida Department of Education to provide online professional development courses to Master Digital Educators, who support and encourage technology integration throughout Florida.

A Local Event to Spark Coverage

To capitalize on the partnership and engage prospective customers, CB&A provided turnkey services in hosting a special event for interested users and media at FETC.

The client was looking for a way to maximize its visibility at the conference and to encourage additional enrollment in its online courses. CB&A worked closely with the organization to provide planning services, including developing print and electronic invitations, managing all event logistics, and writing scripts for all of the evening’s speakers. CB&A recorded the event for use in podcasts and the organization’s online newsroom.

Campaign Visibility

Through the event, our client solidified its relationship with the Florida Department of Education and the Florida Master Digital Educator program.

With more than 30 media, VIPs and prospective customers in attendance, the event succeeded in reinforcing public perception of the client by achieving visibility among media, key education decision-makers, and teachers. The event differentiated our client’s product line from those of its competitors, strengthening the organization’s market position and establishing its executives as facilitators and industry experts.

Following the event, the partnership was featured in print and online articles in several education trade publications, which reached our client’s target audiences.
