Cincinnati (Apr. 26, 2011) – The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) has announced that netTrekker has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious CODiE™ Awards in the Best K-12 Instructional Solution category for the second year in a row. The Best K-12 Instructional Solution award recognizes the best broad-based, multi-disciplinary teaching application or solution for curricula and content that is specifically targeted toward students in K-12 learning environments.

netTrekker, winner of the 2007 Best Education Solution CODiE Award, offers more than 300,000 safe, educator-reviewed digital resources from around the Web and from partner offerings that are aligned to standards and span the entire K-12 curriculum. Of 425 nominations, 113 products from 80 companies were selected as CODiE award finalists. Nominated products underwent an intensive review by subject matter experts, analysts, journalists, and others with deep experience in the field.

All products that qualified as finalists will be reviewed and voted on by members of SIIA. As a finalist in this category, netTrekker is also eligible to win the Best Instruction Solution and Best K-12 Education Solution super-categories. All winners will be announced on May 23, 2011.
