Silver Spring, Md. (Feb. 26, 2009) – The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) has selected the Discovery Education Science service from Discovery Education as a finalist in the 2009 CODiE Awards in the “Best Science Instructional Solution” category.

Aligned to state education standards, Discovery Education Science empowers educators to quickly locate and use a variety of engaging multimedia resources, including videos, animations, images, articles, and virtual labs, to reach elementary and middle school students through a familiar medium that they are eager to use in the classroom. Students have unique usernames and passwords, enabling their teachers to create individual learning plans.
