Discovery Education Online Tools Connect Educators to
Stimulating, High-Quality Resources

(October 10, 2007) - Discovery Education Vice President of Marketing Coni Rechner announces that Discovery Education has been honored with four awards from Technology & Learning magazine. The company earned an Award of Excellence for both Discovery Education Health and Discovery Education Science, and was recognized with two Legacy Awards for Discovery Education streaming and PowerMediaPlus.

The prestigious Awards of Excellence program highlights innovative software and Web products that break new ground in some important way and demonstrate clear superiority over similar products in the market. The Legacy Award honors software and Web products that have stood the test of time and have evolved to continue to offer the highest quality learning experiences for both educators and students. This year’s winners were chosen by more than 30 educator-judges who test-drove over 120 entries.
