San Fernando, Calif. (Mar. 10, 2010) – Califone International, Inc., announces the launch of its new line of megaphones, designed specifically for use in the school environment. The megaphone line includes three models, ideal for sporting events, traveling with students and emergency response situations.

The top-of-the-line model (PA25R) includes a detachable microphone for convenience and comfort, ensuring each message is clearly heard by those around the user. In addition, the 25-Watt PA25R allows users to record up to a 10 second message for instant playback, helping to alleviate voice strain while continuing to provide concise instructions to listeners. The megaphone can also loop messages for continual playback, and has a 1,250-foot range for both broadcasting messages and its siren.

The 20-Watt PA20R also offers convenience with a detached microphone, and can playback messages and transmit its siren within a 1,000-foot range. Smallest of the three, the PA8 has a 500-foot range, is lightweight for carrying with ease, and has a foldable handle for convenient storage.

Each megaphone is built with rugged ABS plastic for durability and safety, and comes with a shoulder strap for comfortable carrying and use. The PA25R is available for $140, the PA20R is available for $120, and the PA8 is available for $95.
