7 Things CB&A is Thankful For

By November 22, 2016October 20th, 2020No Comments

Thanksgiving is right around the corner! While we relish all of the food and the shopping hype, let’s not lose sight of why we’re gathering around the table: To celebrate each other and give thanks. CB&A has a lot to be thankful for this year – here are the highlights:

#7 – The Late Blohmers ISTEPost

We spent many hours this summer with co-workers, pizza and volleyball. And even though we weren’t great, the CB&A team showed up with grit and determination every week – that’s always something to be proud of.

#6 – Education Conferences

Now in our second year of BuzzHub, we’ve refined our technique and made important improvements to the conference experience. As always, conferences leave us invigorated, and inspired in our efforts to help students everywhere.

#5 – Endless supply of office treats…

Want to know how we keep going at the midday hour? The answer is pure and simple: sugar. Be it delivered via donuts, bagels or candy – you name it, we’ve had it. The ultimate treat? Our “beer thirty” tradition every Friday to ring in the weekend. We’ll always say “cheers” to that.img_7630

#4 – “Bring your pet to work”

While we love Garrett, we’re now seeing many new doggy faces in the office! And once in a while, Teddy the bunny makes an appearance. These pets have our hearts, and they never fail to brighten our days. (And if you haven’t seen how cute some of our furry friends are, check our ‘gram.)

#3 – Community Building and Recognition

Madison is a big part of who we are. This year CB&A was voted one of Madison’s Best Places to Work – an award we’re so proud of. Because we love our city so much, we think it’s important to give back. Members of the team are personally involved in various worthy organizations, and collectively the CB&A team gives back to the community through groups like the United Way.

#2 – Folks who help tell student stories

You’ve heard the saying “raising a child takes a village,” an observation we agree with 100 percent. Educators teach and mold students. Clients offer tools and technology to help them learn. And the media share student successes. It would be very hard to do what we do without these three influencers.

#1 – The (expanded) CB&A Team

team-photo2016 was a big year for us. We launched the digital division of CB&A, grew the CB&A team and celebrated our 25th anniversary. Big wins included the Hermes, MarCom and the Alchemy awards. And we know none of this would be possible without the teammates sitting next to us, so hey, we had to say it – thanks!

What are you most thankful for this holiday season?
